Jason is originally from Murray, KY, where he attended Murray State University and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. After graduation he moved to Jacksonville, where he attended The University of North Florida and obtained his Master’s degree in Business Administration.
In his current position, Jason focuses his efforts on business management consulting as well as tax planning and preparation for commercial businesses and individuals. His industry focus centers mainly on healthcare, veterinary practices, professional services, as well as real estate and retail operations. In his role he is able to get an “inside view” of his client’s operations, which enable him to recommend strategies that could help to reduce the likelihood of employee fraud and embezzlement.
He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA) as well as the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Jason also serves on the Big Leaders Council of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida.
In his free time Jason enjoys spending time with his wife Haley and sons Jackson and Harrison, reading, playing golf, and following the Jacksonville Jaguars and Kentucky Wildcats.
